Privacy Policy
What this website records, what it does not, and exactly where the seller's system takes over from it.
Last updated: 2026-09-11. This policy covers gelagenus.com. It does not cover the seller's checkout, which runs on a separate system with its own policy that you should read before entering payment details.
The short version
This site sells nothing directly, so it never sees your name, your address or your card. It collects ordinary web analytics, it sets an affiliate tracking cookie when you click an order button, and it stores whatever you choose to put in an email. That is the whole list.
Information collected automatically
Like effectively every website, this one records technical information about visits: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you looked at and how long for, the referring page that sent you, and rough geographic location derived from the IP. None of it identifies you by name and it is used to understand which pages are worth keeping and which are not.
Information you provide
If you email the address on the contact page, that message and your address sit in an ordinary mailbox until the conversation is finished and for a reasonable period afterwards. Please do not send medical details you would not want in an email; there is no secure portal here and pretending otherwise would be dishonest.
Cookies, and what each one is doing
| Kind | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Necessary | Basic function, security and remembering a cookie choice. Cannot be switched off without breaking the site. |
| Analytics | Aggregate counts of pages, sources and devices. Nobody is identified individually. |
| Affiliate | Set when you click through to the seller so that a resulting order is attributed here. It records the click, not you. |
Your browser can block or delete all of these. Blocking analytics and affiliate cookies changes nothing about how the site works for you.
Third parties involved
Hosting, analytics and the affiliate network each process some of the technical data above in order to do their job. Following an order button hands you to the seller's own domain, at which point their privacy policy applies and this one stops. That handover is the moment worth paying attention to, because it is where personal and payment information is actually collected.
How long anything is kept
Analytics data is retained in aggregate for the period the analytics provider offers. Emails are kept while a conversation is live and for a reasonable period after it. Cookies expire on the schedule the browser shows in its own settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what is held about you, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, to object to certain processing, or to receive a copy. Write to [email protected] and the request will be handled. Since this site holds almost nothing beyond email correspondence, most such requests are answered in a sentence.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children. No information is knowingly collected from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has sent something here, write and it will be deleted.
Security, honestly framed
The site is served over an encrypted connection and access to the mailbox is restricted. No system on the internet is perfectly secure and nobody should tell you theirs is. Since no payment details ever reach this domain, the worst case here is meaningfully smaller than it would be on a checkout.
Changes to this policy
Any material change appears here with a new date at the top. There is no mailing list to notify, because there is no mailing list.
